το ΤΜΗΜΑ

Chemistry as a separate subject began to be taught in modern Greece in 1837, immediately after the founding of the University of Athens. Chemistry was taught alongside Physics and Mathematics within the framework of the courses of the Faculty of Philosophy. The first person to teach Chemistry was the Bavarian pharmacist and University Lecturer Xavier Landerer, who also wrote the first relevant book.
